FamilyAbout me…..Never easy to talk about yourself……First off, I am a Husband. I have been married 30 years! I have two fantastic kids that are all grown. I am a father, a dad and a Grandpa!. I have been through all the typical things that life throws at us. First day of kindergarten, high school graduations, first dates, “The Talk”, proms, break-ups, engagements, youth sports, high school sports, all day dance recitals and volleyball tournaments. Moments we all cherish. I would never change a thing!!

Photography BackgroundI have been involved with photography since about 1980. My first year of High School. I loved taking pictures at the high school sporting events and learned to develop the film and print photos in the darkroom. I began selling cameras at a camera store. I then opened a photography studio and began taking things more serious. We traveled to different advertising agencies around Detroit to feature our portfolio to art directors. We landed a few accounts and learned how to operate a business.
I became an assistant for a top end architectural photographer out of Detroit where I learned how the best become the best. We shot everything from multi-million dollar homes to stadiums and everything in between. She was a perfectionist. This was all prior to the digital age and so there was no such thing as Photoshop. So I learned how to do things right, in camera, without relying on post production. I jumped into the digital age and began shooting my kids playing sports. After paying for my daughter’s senior pictures, I put my plan into action to shoot my sons pictures when it was his time. Once his pictures were done, I began to receive inquiries. And the rest you can say, is history. |
